Why Use ICFs?
Using NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms in the construction of above and below grade walls meet and often exceed statutory building codes. When compared with many traditional building techniques they have been found to be up to:

- Hurricane rating of up to 250mph exceeds that of either wood framed houses or concrete blocks

- Fire resistance rating up to 4 hrs. vs. only 20 min with stick frame house

- Sound Transmission Class (STC) Rating of 50 (using 6” forms) classifies this product as "totally inaudible"

- R22.4 rating of a Nudura ICF structure has been found to be equivalent to R40-R50 rating on stick framed building, due to reduced thermal bridging
